About Us
adaa was established in 2017 with a great passion for making sustainable changes in the local and regional built environment.
adaa is an independent, innovative consultancy that works with engineers, architects, and developers in the MENA region to optimize the quality of buildings and cities by providing Design Optimization, Green Building Certification consultancy, and Capacity Building to shape a more sustainable future.
adaa helps architects, engineers, and developers design better buildings and spaces that consume less energy, water, and resources while being comfortable for occupants by applying state-of-the-art simulations throughout the design process and best practice methodologies in analyzing the overall performance of the design. adaa focuses on sustainable environmental design, linking architectural creations to environmental sciences, building physics, and performance simulation.
adaa manages and advises on global Green Building certification and rating systems covering the design, construction, and operation stages, successfully achieving LEED and EDGE certification for high-end projects in the MENA region.

Founder & General Manager
Maysoon is an Accredited Professional Architect who specializes in Sustainability and Green Building Design. She founded “adaa, Sustainable Development Consultants in 2017. She is a Certified Trainer in Green Building Design and Certification and an HTU Industry Fellow. Maysoon has a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and an undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Jordan. With over 20 years of international experience in sustainability, architectural design, and education, she is a highly skilled professional.
Through her work, she focuses on optimizing the design, construction, and operation of tens of buildings. She also leads the certification process for many projects under global green rating systems, including LEED and EDGE. Before establishing her consultancy firm, she worked for various international architectural firms in Jordan and the United States and she advises on green building and sustainability projects with the KfW, USAID, UNDP, IFC, and the World Bank Group.
